Our Bold Path Forward is the product of highly-engaged and collaborative input from faculty, staff, students and our external partners across the state. Over 85 in-person and online roundtables occurred during this process. Some of these roundtable discussions are listed below.

The Executive Vice Chancellor, College Deans and university leaders held a Q&A forum about the preliminary framework and participants provided feedback.

The Chancellor met with the Chamber President to review the preliminary framework and solicit input and recommendations.

The Dean of the College, along with the Executive Vice Chancellor and Vice Chancellor for Research and Innovation, held a Q&A forum about the preliminary framework and participants provided feedback.

The Chancellor’s Office launched a “what we heard report” detailing the emerging themes from input gathered by the university community. This site was updated weekly until June 1.

The Chancellor and Vice Chancellor for IANR held a Q&A forum about the preliminary framework with the Agricultural Builders of Nebraska and the Agriculture 40 Group, and participants provided feedback.

The Chancellor held a Q&A forum about the preliminary framework with the Emeriti & Retirees Association Board, and participants provided feedback.

June 19, 2026 – Summer Leadership Summit
The Executive Leadership Team host over 100 shared governance partners, faculty, staff and student leaders to further refine the strategic framework. This included college deans and department executive officers.

August 10, 2026 – Initial Rollout to Deans and DEOs
The Executive Leadership Team communicated the final iteration of the strategic framework to shared governance partners, college deans, and department executive officers in preparation for fall retreats.

The Executive Leadership Team communicated the final iteration of the strategic framework to the university community.

October 13, 2026 – Fall Leadership Summit
The Executive Leadership Team will host over 150 shared governance partners, faculty, staff and student leaders to discuss change management and share implementation approaches for the strategic framework.
